In the aftermath of the September 11 attacks, the first Special Forces team is sent into Afghanistan on a dangerous mission to confront the Taliban. Led by a new captain, the soldiers must navigate unfamiliar ground and form an uneasy partnership with an Afghan warlord as they work to dismantle Taliban forces.
