Recently unemployed construction worker Dennis Nash is struggling to provide for his family when they are evicted from their foreclosed home. Proud, desperate, and determined to get it back, he makes a risky bargain with Rick Carver, the corrupt real estate broker responsible for his eviction, and begins working for the very man at the center of his anger.
