Max Skinner, a London investment broker, inherits his uncle’s chateau and vineyard in Provence, a place tied to many of his childhood holidays. Planning to renovate the estate and sell it, he finds himself drawn into a slower way of life far from the city. His plans are complicated when a woman from California arrives, claiming to be his long-lost cousin and the rightful owner of the property.
