A Little Game

After moving into a very different world at her posh new uptown school, 10-year-old Max feels out of place and alone. Still grieving the death of her beloved grandmother, the downtown girl finds an unexpected guide in a gruff chess master. Through lessons at the board, he helps her see the choices around her and face change with resilience, patience, and perseverance.
