On the infamous Alcatraz Island, a group of prisoners makes a daring bid for freedom. Led by an armed robber and a gangster, the men attempt to break out of one of the most notorious prisons in the world, where isolation and security stand between them and escape. As their plan takes shape, the attempt tests their resolve inside a place built to keep them locked away.
