Anna and the King

In 1860s Siam, widowed British schoolteacher Anna Leonowens arrives to teach the children of the King. As she adjusts to life in the royal court, her intelligence and independence draw the King’s attention, and a complicated romance begins to form between them. Through their growing bond, Anna challenges his ideas about love and the place one woman can hold in a man’s life.
