After three years in a mental hospital, George is released and tries to adjust to life outside. Eddie Dash, a committed con man, is assigned to keep him out of trouble, but the arrangement takes an unexpected turn when strangers start recognizing George as a missing millionaire. Sensing an opportunity, Eddie decides to use the confusion for his own advantage.
