In 1941, as Stalin’s forces dismantle the Baltic region during World War II, 16-year-old Lina Vilkas and her family are deported to Siberia. An aspiring artist, Lina clings to hope amid fear and hardship, secretly recording what she sees through her drawings. Her coming-of-age story follows a young girl using art to preserve memory in a time of silence.
