Joey is a young woman searching for direction in her small town when a visit to an Army recruiting office seems to offer a way forward. Her plans begin to shift after she meets Rayna, an older woman who changes how Joey sees her future. As their relationship deepens, Joey is forced to confront difficult choices about love, duty, and the life she thought she was choosing.
