Bad Country

In 1980s Louisiana, Baton Rouge police detective Bud Carter arrests contract killer Jesse Weiland and sees a chance to reach a much larger target. Hoping to stay with his wife and newborn, Jesse agrees to become an informant. As Carter pushes him to expose the South’s most powerful crime ring, the case draws both men deeper into a dangerous criminal world.
