Married couple Bob and Susan Howard turn to marriage counseling in hopes of addressing the problems in their relationship. Their counselor, Judy Small, seems trustworthy and professional at first, offering the kind of guidance they believe they need. But Judy is not as straightforward as she appears, and beneath her calm exterior are dark, conflicted impulses that complicate the Howards’ attempt to repair their marriage.
