Bad Words

Forty-year-old Guy Trilby, a bitter misanthrope with a lingering grudge, finds a loophole in the rules of the National Golden Quill Spelling Bee and enters the competition as an adult. Once a spelling bee loser himself, Guy sets out to turn the contest into an act of revenge, pushing his way into a world meant for young contestants and challenging the system on its own terms.
