Becket

King Henry II of England depends on Thomas Becket, his close friend, confidant and longtime advisor. Hoping to secure the Church’s absolute loyalty, Henry unwillingly places Becket in the role of Archbishop of Canterbury. But the appointment changes their bond, as Becket begins to define his honor through God’s will rather than the king’s desires.
