Judith is a lonely, frazzled social worker whose concern for her son Marty often turns into meddling. Hoping to lift her spirits and create some distance in his own life, Marty hires his free-spirited friend to spend time with her. What begins as a well-meaning setup takes an unexpected turn when the arrangement grows into a serious romance no one planned for.
