Brainwashed: Sex-Camera-Power

This documentary examines the politics embedded in cinematic shot design and how the way films are framed can reflect and reinforce broader systems of power. Using a wide range of movie clips spanning 1896 to 2020, it connects this often unseen level of filmmaking to sexual abuse and assault, as well as employment discrimination against women in the film industry.
