Eight years after an unforgivable mistake destroys his promising college football career, hotshot quarterback Russ Holliday looks for a way back onto the field. Disguising himself as Chad Powers, a talented but oddball walk-on, he joins the struggling South Georgia Catfish and tries to revive the dream he lost.
