Chuck Barris rises to fame as the television producer behind popular game shows, but his own account claims a far stranger double life. Based on Barris’s cult memoir, the film follows his version of events as he says he is recruited by the CIA at the height of his TV career and trained to work as a covert assassin while maintaining his public life in entertainment.
