After his wife leaves him, New York comic Pete is forced to rebuild his life and start over. Still feeling lost, he has an enlightening conversation with an atheist that sends him into a night of New York debauchery. As the season unfolds, Pete begins to question the faith that has shaped him while trying to find his own voice as a comedian.
