Cromwell

Disgusted by the policies of King Charles I, Puritan statesman Oliver Cromwell prepares to leave England with his family for the New World. But just before their departure, he is pulled into a growing conflict shaped by religion, politics, and royal power. As tensions deepen, Cromwell becomes a leading force in the civil war against the absolutist, Catholic-sympathetic king.
