Days of the Bagnold Summer

Teenage Daniel is ready to spend the summer in Florida with his father and his father’s new wife, while his librarian mum, Sue, expects a quiet few weeks at home. When the trip is cancelled at the last minute, mother and son are left facing six long weeks together. As Daniel retreats into crisps and heavy metal, Sue tries to keep the peace and find a way to connect with him.
