Death of a Cheerleader

A shy high school outsider longs to fit in and sets her sights on befriending a popular cheerleader. When her attempt to enter the school’s favored social circle ends in rejection, humiliation turns into a desire for revenge. This remake of the cult classic is inspired by Randall Sullivan’s Rolling Stone article about the real-life murder of a wealthy, admired Northern California cheerleader by a classmate.
