Shark conservationist Dr. Misty Calhoun is brought in to advise on a top-secret project led by pharmaceutical billionaire Carl Durant. What she finds is a dangerous experiment repeating past mistakes: super-intelligent, unpredictable bull sharks being used as test subjects. When the aggressive sharks refuse to remain lab rats, the facility is thrown into chaos.
