Insurance investigator Virginia Baker believes master thief Robert MacDougal is behind the theft of a Rembrandt painting. To recover it, she goes undercover as an art thief and enters his world of high-end crime. As the two move through elegant circles and join forces on illegal schemes, each tries to stay one step ahead of the other while an unexpected attraction begins to grow.
