In California, spiritualist Blanche Tyler and her cab-driving boyfriend make a living through deception, but their latest pursuit draws them into a more dangerous world. While trying to track down a missing heir for a woman, the pair crosses paths with another couple involved in a kidnapping scheme, turning a search built on fraud into an uneasy collision with serial criminals.
