Single mother Grace is stretched thin as she tries to keep up with work, bills, and a relationship with a married doctor. At home, her daughter Ansiedad feels overlooked and impatient to grow up. After reading coming-of-age stories for school, Ansiedad decides to create her own path to adulthood, setting her plans in motion while Grace struggles to manage the pressures in her own life.
