Goya's Ghosts

Painter Francisco Goya is drawn into a dangerous scandal when his muse, Ines, is accused of heresy and arrested by the Spanish Inquisition. As her family pleads for help, Goya must rely on his uneasy connection to Lorenzo, a fanatical inquisitor whose portrait he is painting, in the hope that influence inside the church can help secure her release.
