Eighteen-year-old Caleb has grown up with his single mother and a passion for skateboarding. When his mother is hospitalized with cancer and the rent comes due, he sees a skate competition and the chance to become sponsored as his best hope. After discovering old love letters, Caleb reaches out to the wealthy architect father he has never known, forcing him to face the family questions he has long carried.
