In Vero Beach, Florida, three couples at different stages of their relationships find themselves drawn into a documentary project with a provocative thesis: traditional marriage may be outdated and in need of a redesign. As the film questions whether matrimony should become a seven-year contract with an option to renew, the couples face a comic look at love, commitment, and what marriage is supposed to mean.
