In Fascist Sicily in 1925, Benito Mussolini appoints Cesare Mori as the new police prefect of Palermo and gives him a daunting mission: break the Mafia’s grip on the island. Known as the “Iron Prefect” for his uncompromising methods, Mori is as tough as he is honest, and he takes on a criminal organization that has spread fear through Sicily for centuries.
