Indignation

In 1951, Marcus Messner, a working-class Jewish student from New Jersey, leaves home to attend a small college in Ohio. As the Korean War continues in the background, he tries to find his place in an unfamiliar environment while facing anti-Semitism, cultural disaffection, and the pressures of sexual repression.
