After being reassigned from music criticism to field reporting, a journalist is sent to cover the evacuation of a refugee camp near Paris. What begins as an unfamiliar assignment quickly pulls him into the reality of the crisis, where he witnesses police violence firsthand. Caught in the aftermath, he unexpectedly becomes a public figure tied to the refugee cause.
