Light It Up

At a southside Queens high school, six students push back against the run-down conditions that shape their daily lives. Classrooms are freezing, teachers come and go, and basic resources are scarce. On a winter day, their frustration collides with events at the school, suddenly placing the teens in an armed standoff with the NYPD.
