A tone-deaf woman is determined to overcome the problem that keeps getting in her way, and a man steps in to help her face it. What begins as a comic effort to improve her sense of pitch gradually takes on a more personal rhythm, as the man trying to guide her finds himself drawn into a romance neither of them may have expected.
