Macbeth

Macbeth, Thane of Glamis and a respected Scottish general, receives a prophecy from three witches that he will one day become King of Scotland. Driven by growing ambition and urged on by his wife, he turns against the sitting king, Duncan, and uses violent means to seize the throne, setting Shakespeare’s tale of power and guilt in motion.
