Marie's Story

Born both blind and deaf, Marie Heurtin lives cut off from the usual ways of communicating with the people around her. Sister Marguerette refuses to give up on reaching her and slowly works to earn Marie’s trust. Through patience and care, she begins teaching Marie how to express herself, opening a path toward connection and understanding.
