After a family scandal leaves local politician Mel responsible for her teenage niece, Lennox, and nephew, Ryder, she has to adjust to life as their guardian while keeping up with her public career. Needing help at home, she hires Joe, a man left broke after a Ponzi scheme, to become the family’s live-in male nanny, or “manny,” creating an unconventional household built around new responsibilities.
