College professor and crime fiction expert Amy is involved with a local theater production of a mystery play she uncovered. When the life of the lead actress is threatened, Amy teams up with Detective Travis Burke to look beyond the performance and sort out who may be lying, who is hiding secrets, and which person connected to the play is taking the drama far too seriously.
