
Ode to My Father
During the Korean War, young Duk-soo is separated from his father and younger sister while his family is taking refuge. After making a vow to care for those left behind, he carries that promise through the next 60 years of his life. To support his family, he leaves Korea to work as a miner in Germany and later goes into the Vietnam War, all while holding on to the hope of finding his missing sister.
