One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

In 1963 Oregon, a rebellious petty criminal avoids prison by faking insanity and is sent to a psychiatric hospital for evaluation. Inside the ward, his defiance unsettles the strict order imposed by a cruel, domineering head nurse. As he pushes the other patients to speak up and take more control of their lives, he becomes both their unlikely leader and her fiercest opponent.
