At a remote South American trading port, the head of an air-freight service faces pressure to secure a major contract, even if it means sending his pilots into dangerous flights. As the company’s risks mount, a traveling American showgirl arrives in the port town, and an itinerant floozy also stops by, bringing new tensions to an already precarious operation.
