Passing

In 1920s New York City, a Black woman’s carefully ordered life is disrupted by an unexpected reunion with a former friend from her youth. As the two women renew their acquaintance, her world becomes increasingly intertwined with this friend, who is living as white. What begins as a reconnection grows into a mutual obsession that threatens the identities and realities both have built.
