On Valentine’s Day in 1900, a group from a girls’ school visits Hanging Rock in Australia. During the outing, three schoolgirls and their governess mysteriously vanish without a trace. As the disappearance hangs over the day, the season follows the unsettling mystery of what happened at the rock and why they cannot be found.
