A group of pranksters take things too far when they frighten a homeless girl and accidentally injure her. After the incident, the friends begin to face something far more terrifying than a prank gone wrong: a shadowy presence whose glare brings severe illness and death. As each encounter grows more alarming, the group is forced to confront the consequences of what they did.
