In 1713 Scotland, Rob Roy MacGregor hopes to secure a better future for his Highland community by borrowing from local nobles to buy cattle for market. When the money is stolen and a nobleman and his nephew turn against him, Rob is branded an outlaw. Hunted by the Redcoats and accused of Jacobite ties, he fights to protect his family, his honor, and his people.
