Seven years after the events surrounding Donnie Darko, his younger sister Samantha sets out on a cross-country road trip with her best friend, Corey. When their car breaks down, the two are stranded in a small desert town, where Samantha is soon troubled by strange visions and drawn into a dangerous glitch in the time-space continuum that may signal the end of the universe.
