Save the Last Dance

After her mother’s death, Sara leaves the Midwest and moves to Chicago’s South Side to live with her father. Transferring to a majority-Black school, she struggles to find her place until she befriends Chenille and grows close to Chenille’s brother, Derek, a teen with a troubled past who helps her reconnect with dance and adjust to her new life.
