Wes is a thirtysomething businessman weighed down by a demanding career and family responsibilities. Hoping to reconnect with his old college friend, he extends a work trip into a road trip and pulls Luke, a dispirited artist, along for the ride. As each man admires the life the other seems to have, they set out to find Luke’s “one that got away.”
