Society of the Snow

On October 13, 1972, Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571 is chartered to carry a rugby team to Chile when it crashes into a glacier deep in the Andes. In the aftermath, the few passengers who survive are stranded in one of the world’s harshest environments, forced to face extreme cold, isolation and the constant struggle to stay alive in the mountains.
