After their home planet is destroyed, a family of aliens from a far more advanced world takes refuge in middle America. As they adjust to life on Earth, they argue over whether their new home is better than the one they lost. Their mission is to protect the Pupa, a living supercomputer destined to evolve, consume them, and terraform the planet.
