Megalomaniacal filmmaker Chris Neville turns his own crime into his next production after murdering a young would-be actress. As he begins making a feature based on the killing, he manipulates reality to suit his story, casting the victim’s unsuspecting husband as the fall guy and finding a lookalike to play the woman he killed.
